Mrs. Carl Gray, 81, a Milton resident since 1926, died April 28 in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, following a brief illness.

Funeral services were to be held today, Thursday, April 30, at 3 p.m. from the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church, Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. Burial was to be in the Evergreen [Riverside] Cemetery, Dodge Center, Minn.

The former Zalia Babcock was born Aug. 22, 1888 in Dodge Center, Minn., the older daughter of R. H. and Jennie Langworthy Babcock. She was married to K. Robert Wells, Nov. 17, 1907. He died April 28, 1921. She was married in 1942 to Carl Gray, who also preceded her in death in 1959. She was a member of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church.

Surviving her are a son, Loyal B. Wells of Cedarburg; two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Lucille) Sunby, Milton, and Mrs. Richard (Roberta) Wells of Spencer, N. Y. Other survivors include six grandchildren; one great-grandson; one niece, four step-children and several cousins.
