Mrs. Aldridge was born April 25, 1872 near Portageville, Mo. She was the daughter of R.D. and Nancy Ann Bandy Aldridge, and was one of thirteen children, all having preceeded her in death, except one sister, Mrs. Laura Caldwell of Portageville. She was united in marriage to William Aldridge February 10, 1901. Mr. Aldridge preceeded her in death on April 27, 1928. To this union was born four children two of whom survive. A son, William Edwin and a daughter, Hattie May, also a daughter-in-law, Mrs. W. E. Aldridge, and several neices and nephews are left to mourn her passing.
She became a member of the Martin's Chapel Methodist Church near Portageville at a very early age and has lived a devout christian life since that time.
Funeral services were held at the residence at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. Roy F. Bradley officiating. Interment was in Maple Cemetery with LaForge service.
Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Craig and Mrs. C.M. Bandy of Portageville; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Caldwell of Hayti, Mr. and Mrs. Buford Walls and Mrs. John Wynn of Kennett.
