AYRES, ROBERT CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS" - age 36, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 1998. Member of Ramsey Heights Baptist Church. He was an employee of Jobs for the Disadvantaged. Survived by his father and stepmother, Jerry and Ginger Ayres; mother and stepfather, Linda and Ralph Carr; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Donna Ayres, Mark and Stacey Ayres; stepsisters, Tammy Raby, Teressa Brannam; grandparents, Vernon and Louise Ayres; nieces and nephews, Adam, Ashlie, Tayler, Jeremy and Elizabeth Ayres, Rebekkah Whiellock; special friend, Bill Wooten. Funeral 8 p.m. Thursday at McCarty Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Wayne Johnson and Rev. Floyd Powell officiating. The family and friends will meet at Caledonia Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Friday for an 11 a.m. committal service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Knoxville Chapter of American Diabetic Association. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at McCarty Mortuary, 4004 Holston Drive.
