PULASKI – Anna Albert Ayers, 92, of Caseknife Road, Pulaski died early Tuesday morning Oct. 19, 2004 in the Highland Ridge Rehab. Center, Dublin. She was born in Wythe County on Oct. 5, 1912 and she was the daughter of the late George Albert and Prince Ann Conner Albert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Ayers. Surviving are: her daughters and sons-in-law, Nellie Jane and Richard McGuigan, Buford, S.C., Carol Joyce and Beckwith Akers, Draper; son, Robert Paul Ayers, Pulaski; sister, Thelma Albert, Wythe County; special grandson, George W. Pagan, Jr., Pulaski; five other grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Draper's Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Wythe County with Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Visiting will be Wednesday evening from Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
