He is survived by his wife; three sons: Jeffrey L. and wife, Mary, of Camp Hill, Rodney D. and wife, Christy, of Roaring Spring, and Michael W. and wife, Sharon, of Martinsburg; six grandchildren: Beth, Matt, Ty, Cassie, Janelle and Ben; and three sisters: Anne Ihm of Frederick, Md., Betty Wagner of Lewistown and Sara Beach of Derby, N.Y. He was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters: Donald, Samuel, Nelson, Harriet, Eugene, Sylvia Claar, Lillian Hoffman, Julia Thompson, John Swales, Ted Swales, Marie Hess, Frances Shoff and Benjamin Ayers.
