Jane Millie Ayers Edwards, 76, of 5543 Drake Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, at Wesley Long Hospital, after a period of declining health.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, in Guilford Memorial Park, High Point Road, Greensboro, conducted by Pastor J.R. Gossett.
Mrs. Edwards was born March 27, 1924, the daughter of the late William H. and Pearl Barger Ayers. Her daughter, Doris Edwards Smith, preceded Mrs. Edwards in death.
She is survived by her husband, A.D. Edwards; four grandchildren, David Smith, Teresa Smith Moffitt and husband, Joey, Lisa J. Smith and Beth Joyce; and six great-grandchildren, Craig, Dillon, Scott, Trey, Rachel and Garrett.
