White Plains, Oct. 23 - Leo-Rae Axtell, who retired in 1954 as an editor of King Features Syndicate, 235 East Forty-Fifth street, died here today in a nursing home. His age was 71. Mr. Axtell, who lived at Pondfield Road West, Bronxville, N.Y., belonged to the Knights Templar, the Masons and the Society of the Silurians. He leaves his wife Bertha; a brother and two sisters.
