Mrs Irene C Gordon, 61 of 3228 Oliver St died at 7:55 am yesterday in Lutheran Hospital where she had been a patient five days.
A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, Mrs Gordon was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Surviving are the husband, Frank R; four brothers, William A and Clifford J Axt, both of Fort Wayne; Joseph W Axt, South Bend and August Axt, Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs Frank Walker and Mrs JC Mils, both of Fort Wayne.
Friends may call at the DO McComb & Sons Funeral Home after 4 pm today. Services will be held at 8:30 am Friday in the funeral home and at 9 in the Cathedral, the Rt Rev Msgr Thomas L Durkin officiating. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
