Anne O. Axson
Mrs. Anne O'Brien Axson, 66, died Feb. 21 at Hospice Savannah.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She retired as assistant vice president from Trust Company Bank after 33 years. She was former president of the National Association of Bank Women and served on the Catholic Diocese Financial Board.
She was a former violinist for the Savannah Symphony Orchestra, a member of the Symphony Women's Guild and served as chair woman for the Cancer Drive on Tybee Island.
SURVIVORS: a son, Thomas P. O'Brien Jr. of Savannah; and a cousin, Frances Anderson Hammond of St. Paul, Minn.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
FUNERAL MASS: 11 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, burial in Catholic Cemetery.
REMEMBRANCES: Carmelite Monastery, 11 West Back St., Savannah, GA 31419; or Hospice Savannah Inc.
