Ms. Axline died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at her parents' home
She was born Sept. 2, 1954, in Lawrence, the daughter of Roy E. and Donna (Mason) Axline.
Ms. Axline was a volunteer at the Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at Kansas University for three years, and was a peer counselor at Independence Inc. She was a member of Clinton Parkway Assembly of God.
Survivors include her parents, Lawrence; two sisters, Diana Grande, Edmond, Okla., and Carol Zedler, Fairfax Station, Va.; and her maternal grandmother, Eva Mason, Lawrence.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, Independence Inc. Transportation or Respite Care, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
