Mrs. Lois Montgomery, 82, of Franklin died Monday at Brian Center of Nursing Care.

Graveside services will be at 2 this afternoon in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. David Brown will officiate.

Mrs. Montgomery was a life-long resident of Heard County and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include seven sisters, Mrs. bernie O'Neal of Hogansville, Mrs. Mary Will Avery of Franklin, Mrs. Pauline Brown and Mrs. Lucille Hicks, both of Atlanta, Mrs. Mona Gamble of La Grange, Mrs. Hollis Crockett of Glenn and Mrs. Norma Golden of cartersville; and one brother, N. V. Awbrey of Franklin.

Tom Stutts & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
