Rites Thursday

Services for Mrs. Grace V. Avise, 76, of 909 Oak Park Ave., who died of a cerebral hemorrhage Monday at Still College Osteopathic Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the cemetery at Altoona.

Born near Altoona, she had lived in Des Moines 10 years. She was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church and the Highland Park Golden Age Club.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne G. Avise of Naperville, Ill., and Lowell E. Avise of Ames; a daughter, Mrs. Nina Pritchard of Ames, seven grandchildren, and a sister; Mrs. Eliabeth McCleary of Des Moines.
