His is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Avery (nee Ishmael), married March 8th, 1980. Proud and loving father of Katie Eileen Avery and Timothy Michael Avery. Cherished son-in-law of Eileen Ishmael and the late Samuel Ishmael; loving brother of Roger Michael Avery; beloved brother-in-law to Gay R. Avery, Debra (Steven) Janik, Karen (the late Mick) Nalepka. He was the loving uncle to Sara Latokhin, Catherine Janik, Macon Nalepka, Robert (Christine) Avery, Angela (Frank) Tanner and Michael Avery and many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger Wendall Avery and Virgilene Oliver, loving father-in-law Samuel D. Ishmael and beloved brother-in-law Michael "Mick" Nalepka.
