~OBITUARY OF CATHERINE JEAN AVERETT

Catherine Jean Moss AVERETT, 63, of Mount Pleasant, died Wednesday, February 17, 1988 in a Provo hospital. She was born October 03, 1923 in Bountiful, a daughter of David Sessions and Nina Folsom MOSS. She married Dail P. AVERETT January 01, 1946 in Woods Cross. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She attended Utah State University.

She served as YWMIA president and was in the Relief Society presidency.

She enjoyed cooking and creating crafts. She was a member of Laicos Club and the Dinner Club.

Survivors include her husband of Mount Pleasant; two sons and three daughters: Keith D. AVERETT and David E. AVERETT, both Mount Pleasant; Mrs. LeRoy (Donalene) BRADY, Washington; Mrs. Troy (Peggy) BALDREE, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Sidney (Nancy) CARDON, Salem; fifteen grandchildren; one sister and one brother: Mrs. Doren (Mildred) BOYCE, Ogden, and Joseph Blaine MOSS, Hurricane.

Funeral will be Monday, noon, Mount Pleasant 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Ursenbach Funeral Home, Sunday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services.

Burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
