Born in Frazier Mo
During World War II she worked at a defense plant at Pratt and Whtney Aircraft until VJ day. Later she owned and operated a furniture business in Holden Mo and Raytown Mo and had been a buyer for the Berkson Ready to Wear in Kansas City Mo
After she and her husband divorced she moved to California. In California she worked at the Westab plant later changed to Mead products. She worked there 18 years before retiring.
After retiring she moved back to St Joe.
In St Joseph she was a member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the St Ann Altar Society of the church.
She died Thursday morning April 30 1987 at a St Joseph hospital
She was preceded in death by parents and three brothers Charley, Lee, and Jack Auxier
survived by 7 sisters Nettie, Doris, Helen, Pearle, Marybelle, Ruby and Dixie as well as several nieces and nephews.
Service was held Monday at St Francis with burial at Frazier Mo
