(Amelia Ann) Turberville and John Quincy Adams Austin on file in West Feliciana Parish. Since Milly was a minor, she had to have parental/guardian permission to marry. Such permission was given by her aunt, Sarah Palmer Austin, oldest sister of her mother Hannah.

Milly and husband John were the parents of 11 children. Milly apparently
died sometime between 1872 when her last child was born and 1880 when she no
longer appears on the census. John died in 1903.
Milly and John's oldest son married his grandmother's great neice, Henrietta Early,
granddaughter of her sister Margaret Palmer Posey.
