Mrs. Barbara Holcomb Austin, 82, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was born May 12, 1932 in Subligna, Georgia , daughter of the late King David and Mary Hix Holcomb and was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, James William Austin; brother, Banks David Holcomb and granddaughter, Morgan Elaine Austin. Barbara was a member of Highland Church of Christ. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James David and Jerry Bailey Austin of Crystal River, FL. and Stuart Maxwell and Melissa Behringer Austin of Selma, AL; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Marisa and Robert Wayne White of Resaca and April Lynn and John Russell Morgan of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine (Jo) and Curtis Hurt of Brooks, GA. and Mary (Sibb) and Marvin Dixon of Calhoun; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Minister Tyler Gilreath officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m
