∼CLAUD LEE AUSTIN, born in Dallas, Texas January 5, 1921, passed away peacefully at The Veranda after a brief illness on March 2, 2005.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Robinson Austin and father Claud Lee Austin, Sr.
He served honorably in the United States Navy during World War II for 4 years and remained in the Navy Reserve for a number of years.
Claud attended Texas University at Austin and Southern Methodist University. He was a 32nd degree Mason, having joined the Blue Lodge at he age of 21.
An active member and volunteer of the Dallas Museum of Art League and member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Rev. Ron Williams, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital Governing Board, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas 75219.
