Paul Austin, 57, of Remington, died August 31st, 2009 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born September 4, 1951 in Fayette County, WV, he was the son of Frank and Bernice Pack Austin. On January 7th, 1971 in Fairfax, he married the former Geraldine Townsend, who survives.
Mr. Austin worked for Chantilly Crushed Stone for over 41 years as a pit foreman. He loved to hunt and fish, and play horseshoes, and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan.
Surviving besides his loving wife of 38 years, Geraldine Austin of Remington, are one daughter, Sundee Banks and her husband Jeff Carlson of Washington, DC; one son, Paul Anthony Austin and his wife Heather of Stephens City; two sisters, Patricia Ann Seymour and her husband Walter of Fort Belvoir; Thelma Lorain Hamm of South Hill; two brothers, James F. Austin and his wife Nancy of Winchester; Larry W. Austin and his wife Vernice of Fishersville; and three grandchildren, Ryan E. Rojas, Camden B. Austin, and Griffin T. Austin.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
