CHESTER -- The funeral for Mrs. Lorene Crouch Austin of Apt. 18 Chester Village will be conducted at 5 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 21, at Barron Funeral Chapel. Elder James Rouse will officiate and burial will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Austin, 84, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Born in Great Falls, she was a daughter of the late Harvey Daniel and Nina T. Cameron Crouch. A member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, Mrs. Austin attended school in Chester County and was retired from the Johnson-Laura Mae Sewing Room.
Survivors include her husband, Tres David Austin Sr.; three sons, T.D. Austin III and his wife, Brenda, of York, Harry Austin and his wife, Judy, of Conway and Tony Austin and his wife, Sandy, of Chester; three grandchildren, Aubrey Austin Caldwell and her husband, Tommy, of Clover, Christopher W. Austin of Chester and Bridgett Lewis of Conway; four great-grandchildren, Tristan and Scarlet of Clover and Brittany and Gage Lewis of Conway; and three great-great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Hailey and Kaden, all of Conway.
Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, is in charge of arrangements.
