Born in Spartanburg, SC a daughter of the late James C. Montgomery and Dorothy Austin. She was a retired teacher of the Spartanburg School District also a member of the Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Linda Austin (Joseph) Phelps of Greenville, SC. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday November 10, 2016 at the Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Antwion Ywoe officiating. Burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
