Ethel M. Allen Died Wednesday
---Ethel M. Allen, 79, 234 S. Main, Tekonsha, died at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday in Oaklawn hospital following a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Tekonsha and raised flowers as a hobby.
---She was born May 2, 1884, in Tekonsha township, the daughter of Henry D. and Matilda (Randall) Aurand and was married July 3, 1900, in Coldwater to Howard Allen. He preceded her in death April 15, 1934.
---Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Russel[sic] J. (Della) Aldrich, two sons, Ilo and Lloyd S., all of Tekonsha; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Tingay of Marshall, Mrs. Eva Allen of Battle Creek and several nieces and nephews. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
