Claude Aultman was the 5th child born to James K. Polk and Alice Thames Aultman. He was a veteran of WWI and a member of American Legion Post 3, Macon, GA. He married Florence Johnson on March 7, 1925, the daughter of William R. and Zebie Hilton Johnson. To them were born five children: Sarah Elizabeth, Mabel, Charlie James, Rollie Clarence and George William. Claude was known for his sense of humor and love of a practical joke. He was employed at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA after the war. Claude and Florence built a lovely home on Allen Road in Bibb County, GA.
