CHESAPEAKE FUNERAL SET FOR BISHOP'S WIFE
A funeral for Mrs. Mary Dupree Augson , wife of Bishop Albert Augson Sr., pastor of St. John's United Holy Church here, will be held Thursday at noon at Holy Temple United Holy Church in Chesapeake.
Burial will follow in Roosevelt Gardens in Norfolk.
Mrs. Augson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was 66.
Mrs. Augson grew up in Norfolk and had been living in Richmond since 1983, when Bishop Augson became pastor of St. John's church. He had been pastor of Morning Star United Holy Church in Norfolk for more than 35 years before moving here.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Augson is survived by a son, Albert Augson Jr. of Tampa, Fla.
