Bettie Augburn, 17, died last evening at her home in New Castle, after an extended illness. Surviving are the father, Edward E. Augburn, of the U.S. Naval Recruiting Service, New York; and mother, Mrs. Edward E. Augburn, of Burbank, Cal. The body was removed to the Meeks Mortuary.

A private funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Meeks Mortuary with Dr. J. Marion Smith in charge. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton.
