Elizabeth "Betty" Auchey, of New Oxford, died February 24, 2010, in Hanover.
Born May 20, 1946, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Caterina) Fazzone.
Mrs. Auchey was employed with the Adams Co. Prothonotory Office for over 17 years as a clerk. Formerly, she worked at the Thrift Drug Store in the North Hanover Mall.
She treated everyone like family and was a friend to everyone she met and was famous for her homemade Lasagna.
Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.
She was the wife of Richard L. Auchey and in addition to him, Betty is survived by three daughters, Christina M Fazio of York, Kimberly A. (Fazio) Erdman and husband, Jeff of East Berlin, and Stephanie L. Perago and husband, Steve of York; two sons, David C. Fazio and wife, Elizabeth of Red Lion, and Matthew A. Auchey of Albion; one brother, Harry T. Fazzone of East McKeesport; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by a daughter, a brother, and a sister.
Interment was in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
