Delores J. Kemp was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Delores moved to Paterson in 1953. She resided in Paterson for sixty years.

She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at
Preakness Hospital.

She retired in 1996 after forty years of service.

She loved to visit Atlantic City and Las Vegas. She was a football fan and loved many other sports.

Delores was predeceased by her first husband, Willie Kemp and second husband, Cole Wheeler, Jr.; her daughter, Barbara Wiggins and grandson, Claud Earl Wiggins.

Mrs. Kemp, 80, of Paterson departed this life on Friday.

September 21, 2013 at East Orange General Hospital.

Delores is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kemp; sister, Cora Robinson; brothers, Samuel, Alphonso and Clifton; granddaughters, Asia and A'tica Kemp; grandson, Aron Kemp; sixteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was adored and respected in her community. She will be missed by her family and friends
