ANNA ATKINSON DIES AT AGE 71

Anna Louise Atkinson, 71, died Saturday evening at the Whitefish Hospital. Mrs. Atkinson had been a resident of the Somers area since 1934.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Atkinson, of Somers; one daughter, Evelyn Dukelow, San Francisco, Calif.; one son, Vernon Kettleson, Whitefish; three brothers, Elmer Heck of Faribault, Minn.; William heck of Springfield, Ore., and Frank Heck, Great Falls; one sister, Lena, of Omaha, Neb., and two grandchildren.
The body is at Catron Funeral Home in Whitefish and will be brought to Waggener & Campbell Funeral home where funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. with burial in Conrad Memorial Cemetery.

ANNA ATKINSON RITES OBSERVED

Funeral offices (sic) for Anna L. Atkinson, 71, were read by Father Paul Baker, rector of the Episcopal Church of Whitefish, at Waggener & Campbell Chapel Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in Conrad Memorial Cemetery with Frank Marcoe, Lawrence Drew, George Ruby, Tom Bennett, Roy R. Hissong, and Gideon Oursland as pallbearers.
Anna Louise Atkinson was born Dec. 4, 1882, in Trosky, Minn. She spent her youth there and completed her education in Minnesota. After her training as a teacher she taught school at Pipestone, Minn.
On Dec. 22, 1905, she was married to Bert Kettleson, who died July 17, 1917.
On Dec. 23, 1923, she was married to Richard Atkinson, and in the spring of 1934 she and her husband moved to Somers where they had made their home since.
Mrs. Atkinson died May 15 at the John B. Simons Hospital in Whitefish.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Atkinson, at their home in Somers; one son, Vernon Kettleson of Whitefish, and one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Dukelow of San Francisco, Calif.; three brothers, Elmer Heck of Faribault, Minn.; William Heck of Springfield, Ore., and Frank Heck of Great Falls; one sister, Mrs. Lena Richards of Omaha, Neb.; and two grandchildren.
