LONACONING — Hugh Atkinson, 69, died early today in Allegany County Infirmary, Cumberland, after an illness of 18 months.
A son of the late H. H. Atkinson, he was formerly employed by the Railway Express Company as an agent for the C. and P. Railroad. Mr. Atkinson held membership in the Lions Club here.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Elizabeth (Bell) Atkinson who reside with her daughter, Mrs. Ruth A. Kline, Frostburg; two other daughters, Mrs. Verna A. Boteler, Buckeystown, and Mrs. Agnes A. Willis, Durham, N. C, and four sisters, Mrs. Stella Richmond, Mrs. May Savage, Mrs. Elizabeth Brodbeck and Mrs. Janet Holmes, all of Lonaconing.
The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home, and the family requests that flowers be omitted.

LONACONING —Services for H. Atkinson, 69, who died yesterday in the Allegany County Infirmary, will be held at 3 p. m. at the Eichhorn Funeral Home with the Rev. C. H. Goshorn, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park, Cumberland.
