Judith Pauline Atkins Anderson, 97, of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, October 24, 2003 in the Liberty House Nursing Home, Clifton Forge.
She was born August 30, 1906 in Callaghan, Alleghany County, Virginia a daughter of the late William Lawrence and Ella Sue Tyree Atkins.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, Clifton Forge where she was a member of the Jean Craig Fellowship and was an active member of the church and choir.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, B. Montague and Elizabeth Ann Anderson of Ashland, Kentucky; two brothers, William Atkins of Roanoke and Edwin Atkins of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Monica A. Anderson, Cynthia A. Stanbaugh, Richard E. Anderson, Ellen A. Bondurant and Judith A. Davis; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lewis Anderson in 1992; one son, Keith W. Anderson in 2003; and two sisters, Beulah Barksdale and Mary Frances Atkins.
