Frankie was the daughter of Frances Robinson Ricksecker and Don Pedro Ricksecker (and the loving mother of her cocker spaniel, Honey, as a young woman). She married George Atkeson from Kansas on 7 May 1938; George became the president of Westport Bank, a position that had been held by both Frankie's father (Don) and Frankie's grandfather (F.G. Robinson). Frankie and George had one daughter, Frances "Francie" Atkeson. Frankie had one sibling, John Henry Ricksecker. She was much loved by her cousins and extended family for her very amusing and lively personality.
