MILTON/EDGERTON - June A. Kidder, age 77, died Sun., Dec. 22, 2002, at the University Hospital, Madison. She was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 22, 1925. She was adopted by Gilbert and Ethel (Knutzen) Schmutzler. She lived her life in the Milton and Edgerton area. She was married to Larry Astin in 1944; he died in 1966. She then married Arvid Kjendle in 1967; he died in 1978. She married Buster Kidder in 1987. She taught Sunday School in the Milton and Edgerton Methodist churches. Larry and June taught M. Y. F. for years. They both sang in the choirs until Dave was born. When they just had Terry, he was in the choir loft with them. She belonged to the Methodist Women's Circle. She chaired a circle. She was a Brownie and a Girl Scout leader and a den mother.

Surviving are her husband; 5 sons; daughter; stepdaughter; grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Anne and Danny; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Fri., Dec. 27, 2002, at the United Methodist Church, Edgerton. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville.
