Mr. Asleson, 57, of Rochester, an Ability Building Center employee, died of a heart attack Wednesday (Oct. 23, 2002) in Rochester.
He was born Oct. 5, 1945, in Preston and after graduating from Chatfield High School in 1963 farmed on the family farm. He lived in rural Fountain until moving to Rochester in 1968. He worked at Rochester Auto Ramp and later for ABC at IBM. He enjoyed watching sports on TV.
Survivors include his mother, Gladys Asleson of Chatfield; and two sisters, Carol (Jack) Griffin of Chatfield and Donna (John) Solberg of Chanhassen, Minn. His father preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield and an hour before the service Monday at the church.
