Almas Aslan, 93, of Turlock, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. Almas was born in Karmanshah, Iran to Pirra and Souria Alkhas. She moved to the United States in 1951 and married Absolam Aziz in 1952. They had no children in their 12 years of marriage. In 1969 she married Ernest Aslan. He passed away in 1971 and they also had no children.
Almas is survived by her sister Lida, niece Miriam and husband Paul, 2 nephews: Robert (Diana) Aziz and Frederick (Naomi) Aziz, and cousins Alice, Agnes and Andy who have helped with her care.
A memorial service is pending. Inurnment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Chicago.
