Mary L. Kuhn was married to Benjamin Franklin Askren on January 29, 1867. Benjamin and Mary Askren had two children, Mary Laura (Askren) Cotton and a child who died at only five months of age. The grave of this infant is immediately to the right of Mary Laura Askren's grave and is shown following the two pictures of her tombstone.
