Bonnie attended Circleville schools and had lived in the Jackson County area all of her life. She was a waitress for many restaurants in and around Holton including Trails Café and S & A, formerly Sharp’s Diner. She also worked with her husband James as co-owner and bookkeeper of Strader Drilling.
Bonnie was a member of the Circleville Christian Church and O.E.S. at Circleville.
She married Howard Johnson in 1948 in Circleville, they later divorced. She then married James Strader, Sr. on July 19, 1966 in Topeka and they later divorced...
Bonnie was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Jeanne Loy in 1991.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with burial to follow in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be given to the Circleville Christian Church c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
