Troba Askins was the sixth of the eight Askins children born to John W. and Emma Reed Askins.
Troba married Willie Kolb in Johnson County, Arkansas, where they both were born. After the Kolbs married, they left Johnson County and eventually settled down in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Troba and Willie were blessed with six children. Three of those children have now passed away. Their names are:

John Reed Kolb, b. Aug. 22, 1937, d. June 6, 1996
Don Kolb, b. Apr. 3, 1939, d. Dec. 20, 2006
