Pat was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the Gospel. She loved temple work and served for many years, along with her husband, in both the Salt Lake and Ogden Temples. She loved the scriptures and spent many hours memorizing and discussing them on her early morning walks with her wonderful friend "Josie." She volunteered her services often and loved working as a docent at This is the Place State Park -- Brigham Young Forest Farm House. She took great pride in her lovely home and beautiful flower garden. Her home is filled with items of her handiwork. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed many memorable outings with her family. She loved to cook, bake and create delicious new recipes for family and friends.
Patricia began her carer at St. Marks Hospital in 1968 as a nurse's aide and shortly thereafter had the opportunity to train and work as an OB/OR Technician. She loved her job and often spoke of how blessed she was to work with such wonderful people. She often referred to them as "her hospital family." She retired from the hospital in 1988.
