THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., Mar. 22, 1998, p. 4B: '(Picture) Ruby Ashworth Armstrong, 91, of Paris, died Friday, March 20, 1998, in the Paris Nursing Home. Funeral services are set for 3:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Dean Kilmer officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs has charge of arrangements. Mrs. Armstrong was born March 18, 1907, to Mary and Vinson Ashworth. She married Ewell Armstrong April 15, 1923. He preceded her in death April 18, 1959. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ at the time of her death. However, she was formerly a member of the Bonham Street Church of Christ for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Adrian Casey and her husband, Joel, of Paris; a grandson, Rick Casey, and his wife, Cindy, of Harrison, AR; three great-grandchildren, Ashton, Trevor and Chandy Casey, all of Harrison; and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Norman Sharber, Jake Coker, Eddie Poole, Bob Staples, Charles Burton and Carl Mac Coker.'
