My GG Grandfather.
Husband of Mary Jane CRISP Ashworth.
PVT enlisted 03.22.1862, Regiment and Army served Co.C,20th TX CAV.

He was granted a Confederate Land Script for land in Kaufman County & brought his father, Thomas Vincent Ashworth with him. His brother, Carlton, came with him too & received a confederate land script in Van Zandt County - right next to Kaufman.
