Mr. Guy Errington Ashmore, Jr., 68, of Huntington Beach, CA died Friday, October 24, 1997 at Fountain Valley Community Hospital in Huntington Beach. Mr. Ashmore, a native of Jacksonville, was a veteran having served during the Korean War. He was employed as a Telecommunications Engineer for approximately forty years. Mr. Ashmore was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Watts Ashmore. He is survived by three sons, Guy Errington Ashmore, III, David Hagel Ashmore, and Richard Revell Ashmore; two daughters, Virginia Ann Smith and Betty Lynette Tuttle; two sisters, Cynthia Claire Moseley and Elizabeth Ann Taylor; and 11 grandchildren. Graveside Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 29, 1997 (TODAY) at 4:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Robert P. Herrin officiating. PEEPLES FUNERAL HOME, 2220 Soutel Dr., near Lem Turner Rd. (764-2542).
