Cheryl Marie Asher, 39, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Asher was born Feb. 17, 1966, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a general adult education instructor for the Texarkana, Ark., Independent School District, a member of Arkansas Teachers Association, Arkansas Association of Continuing Adult Education, a former WAGE Coordinator and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Kim Asher of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerred and Karla Lacefield of Texarkana; one daughter, Brianne Jeané Asher of Texarkana; her father, Richard Jeter of Bastrop, La.; one sister, Deanna Govea of Monroe, La.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Forrest and Bettie Asher of Hooks, Texas; one grandchild, Conner Everett Lacefield of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Gene Ross and Marie Ross officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
