Joey Ashdown, age 21, passed away on October 28, 2011 in Carlin, NV. He was born on April 1, 1990 in Roseburg, OR to Don and Krisitina Ashdown.

Joey loved camping, fishing, hiking, and really anything outdoors. He loved spending time with family and friends and especially spending time with his son, Kaden. Joey was very kind hearted, caring, loving and so much more! Everyone who knew him loved him greatly and was affected by him in some way. Joey had accomplished many things in his lifetime, but sadly not his life long dream of becoming a motorcycle mechanic and owning his own shop. Joey was one of a kind, whom can never be replaced and whom will be greatly missed by all.

Joey was survived by his only son, Kaden Ashdown, long time friend, companion and mother of their only child, Jasmyne Borden. Loving and devoted parents Don and Kristina Ashdown. Loving and caring brother, Cody and Darren Ashdown, and adoring younger sister Jamie Ashdown. As well as many aunt, uncles, cousins, and adopted family members, all of who will continue to remember him in their hearts always!

Joey was preceded in death by, his uncle Cory Murphy, adoring grandfather Valdon Ashdown, sweet and caring granny, Mazie Abrams Lee, and beautiful cousin Maggie Dine.



There will be a viewing for friends and family held in Sandy, UT at Larkin Sunset Mortuary on Thursday Nov 3rd from 6 to 8 pm. An additional viewing will be held in Cedar City, UT at Southern Utah Mortuary on Saturday Nov. 5th, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Funeral services will follow at 3pm. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary
