Adeline Maxine Eberhart, 101, of East Jefferson Road, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away in her residence at 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23. Adeline was born in Madison, Wis., to the late Clarina and Elbert Ashcroft.

On Sept. 17, 1919, Adeline Ashcroft married George F. Eberhart, Jr. in Mishawaka. He passed away on Feb. 20, 1968. Adeline was also preceded in death by a son, George Eberhart III in February of 1943; and by a granddaughter, Suzanne Gerard on Feb, 2, 1999.

Adeline is survived by two daughters, Betty (Mrs. Francis) Gerard of Mishawaka and Jo Ann (Mrs. Charles) Murphy of South Bend, Ind.; three grandchildren, Jill Diane (Mrs. William) Hedl, Kristin Jo Murphy and Michael P. Murphy; and by seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Adeline was a member of the Mishawaka Elks Lodge Auxiliary, member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, attended the First Presbyterian Church of Mishawaka and was active in the PTA.
