Mrs. Juanita Haney Ashby, age 83, died Tuesday, October 24 1989 at Aberdeen-Monroe County Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 25 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Houston Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Chaffin officiating.
The daughter of the late John Wesley Haney and the late Mary Frances Bailey, she was born in Monroe County. She was the widow of the late Robert L Ashby of Van Vleet and was a member of Van Vleet United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Ashby is survived by one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Isbell of Shannon.
Pallbearers were Bill Peugh, Steven Peugh, Marvin Haney, Oren Haney and Jimmy Isbell.
Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
