WILLISTON - Services for Allen Douglas Ashba Sr., 57, of Thorin Dr., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 1999 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Williston Cemetery. Mike Lane and Bob Ashba will officiate. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at the funeral home, which is in charge. Memorials may be made to South Eastern Christian Childrens Home, 155 Childrens Way, Duncan, SC 29334.

Mr. Ashba died Wednesday, August 25, 1999 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta. A native of Anderson, Ind., he was a son of the late Andrew Jackson and Lucille Reding Ashba. He was a member of Williston Church of Christ and retired from the Williston Telephone Co. as an installer-repairman.

Surviving are his wife, Cathy Ashba; daughter and son-in-law, Gaya and Benji Anderson of Williston; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Paula Ashba, of Williston; sisters, Betty Ashba of Wabash, Ind., Jeanette Gunter of Tyler, Texas, Helen Ashba of Williston; brother, Ernest Ashba of Wabash; grandchildren, Daniel and Jacob Anderson, Emily and Olivia Ashba.
