Alice Ash, 73, died January 10, 2008 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Christian Assembly Church, 1206 S. Main Street, Hereford, Texas. Pastor Milford Grisham will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E. 6th Street.
Alice Ash was born August 25, 1935 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Leroy and Ruby (Redfern) Brannon. She married James Ash on November 15, 1959 in Clayton, New Mexico. They moved to Hereford in 1986 from LaGrange, TX and has lived in Amarillo since July 2007 . Alice was a member of the Christian Assembly Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty Word.
Survivors include her husband of the home, one son, Kurt Ward of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Kim Ward of Apache Junction, AZ; two brothers, Johnny Brannon of Hereford, Jerry Brannon of Grand Junction, CO; two sisters, Jean Dragger and Donna Fortenberry of Hereford and one grandchild.
Family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers to the local chapter of the American Heart Association, 6605 W. Interstate 40, Suite A-6, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
