Antonia Correa Arzola, age 84, a lifetime resident of Grant County entered eternal rest on Friday, November 22, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Antonia was born on November 4, 1929 in Santa Rita to Crescenio H. and Pilar Carbajal Correa. Antonia was a faithful and devoted wife and a precious mother. Antonia was a member of the Santo Nino society and Guadalupanas. Antonia was a foster grandmother at the Bayard elementary school. Antonia often worked the elections and as a faith healer. Antonia observed and followed the Catholic faith as Catechists for our Lady of Fatima and a cursillista. Antonia was well known and loved by all the community and will be dearly missed. Antonia is survived by her daughter, Rose Rios (Joseph), sons, Ruben Jr, Albert (Katy), Richard (Martha) Angel (Yvonne) Miguel, Armando and daughter Amanda, brothers; Carlos Correa (Olga) and Rudy Correa (Delia), sisters, Susie Correa and Rufina Bustillos (Longino) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Antonia is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Ruben C. Arzola Sr. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 with visitation from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 at Baca's Funeral Chapels. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. The Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. with Father Paulus Kao officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Amanda Valerio, Miguel Arzola, Angel Arzola, Adam Arzola, Richard Arzola and Albert Arzola. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph J. Rios, Ben Valerio, Danny Ray Portillo, Matt Hansen and grandchildren.
