Mrs. Arwood was a native of Bakersville, NC and had lived most of her life in Johnson City.
She was a daughter of the late John and Lillie Hoilman.
Mrs. Arwood was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Arwood, Jr., one brother and five sisters.
She was a former employee of the Hosiery Mill and was a baby-sitter for many years.
Mrs. Arwood was a charter member of New Hope Church of Christ.
