William Dale Arvieux, 66, of Yale, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at the Cushing Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Council Valley Baptist Church. The Rev. Larry Lehr will preside with interment to follow at the Flynn Cemetery South of Cushing. Funeral services will be under the direction of the Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing.

He was born Dec. 29, 1935 in Green Ridge, Mo., to William and Eunice (Brownfield) Arvieux. He received his early education in Green Ridge and was a graduate of the Green
Ridge High School Class of 1953. He was married to Aleta (Redemer) April 12, 1974 in Oklahoma City. They lived in Oklahoma City until moving to Yale in 1997.

Arvieux was Senior Computer Specialist for AT&T which later became Lucent. He was a member of the Council Valley Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include wife Aleta of the home; one son, Skip Pruitt and his wife Cammie of Yale; one daughter, Lynne Crittenden of Ft. Worth, Texas; two brothers, Paul Arvieux and his wife Jolene of Choctaw and Lowell Arvieux and his wife Beverly of Moore; four grandchildren Magon rittenden, Fallon Crittenden, Morgan Pruitt and Parker Pruitt.
